We are incredibly proud to announce that Adventuring Family has been featured in Tabletop Gaming Magazine, one of the world’s leading tabletop gaming publications.
The feature appears in the magazine’s Gaming for Good article, an editorial exploring how tabletop roleplaying games are making a positive impact on mental wellbeing, education, family relationships, and therapeutic practice.
Being included alongside psychologists, researchers, Game Therapy UK, veterans, and professionals working to improve lives through tabletop gaming is a tremendous honour.
The article recognises Adventuring Family as more than a roleplaying game. It highlights our mission to help families navigate real life challenges through storytelling, imagination, and cooperative play.
The magazine describes Adventuring Family as a family therapy roleplaying game that explores topics such as:
- Divorce
- Grief
- Difficult social situations
- Teamwork
- Problem solving
- Emotional intelligence
while remaining completely family friendly, non violent, and accessible for children from age four.

The feature also highlights our commitment to inclusivity, making Adventuring Family especially suitable for children with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, and other neurodivergent or emotional challenges.
This recognition joins a growing list of organisations and publications that have recognised Adventuring Family’s educational and therapeutic approach, including Rascal News and the We Change psychology clinic in Romania.
We are incredibly grateful to Matt Chapman and Tabletop Gaming Magazine for recognising the positive impact tabletop roleplaying games can have on families.
Every adventure has the power to bring people closer together.
This feature reminds us why we started this journey.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Adventuring Family!
